Logo design for Unemployed Denim


Final logo design embroidered onto denim sleeve jacket. The typeface is inspired by a grungy handwritten font to align with the wearer’s personality.

Reflected in this spread are examples of logos I created for Unemployed Denim, an emerging denim brand based in NYC. The company offers fully customizable and reworked denim jackets, sweatpants, t-shirts and other vintage staples. Each item in the shop can be personalized with one-of-a-kind patches and artwork. Early Stages – Brand Visual Identity Development

I developed these below logos very early on to help UD establish a visual identity. They wanted to establish themselves as feminine yet punk. Below are early iterations, showing the possibilities and range of logo design directions. We explored the interplay of graphic visuals with their brand name to see how the two could relate. Ultimately, they decided to go with a signature wordmark logo to start.
